Kari Coultis
Founder and Managing Attorney
Kari is the founder and owner of Coultis Law, LLC, a firm she started in 2009. Kari specializes in personal planning areas of the law, including estate planning (wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives), trust administration, probate, guardianships and conservatorships, and special needs trusts. She works with clients to guide them in preserving and protecting their assets, their loved ones, and their legacies, while also striving to make the estate planning process simple and convenient.
Kari received her law degree from the University of Kansas in 2003, after also receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business – Accounting and Business Administration in 1999 and a Master of Accounting and Information Systems degree in 2000. In her free time, Kari enjoys spending time with her family, watching her son wrestle, and watching KU basketball.

Sara Bouthilette
Senior Legal Assistant
Sara joined the firm in 2015 in various support and junior legal assistant roles. Because of her
dedication, hard work and passion for what she does, she is now the firm’s Senior Legal Assistant.
In her role, Sara works on various drafting matters in all the firm’s different practice areas.
After proudly serving in the United States Marine Corps, Sara settled in Valley Center, where she
resides with her husband and five children, all of whom she enjoys supporting in their multitude
of sports and extracurricular activities. In her free time Sara enjoys spending time with her family
camping and doing other outdoor activities. She is also committed to giving back to the community
through volunteer work with several organizations.

Jennifer Aben-Johnson
Client Concierge / Junior Legal Assistant
Jennifer joined the firm in 2016 and currently serves in Client Concierge and Junior Legal Assistant roles. As Client Concierge, she looks forward to welcoming people and providing a comfortable experience for all who visit our office, whether in person or virtually. She also takes on certain legal assistant roles in the firm.
Jennifer lives in Wichita with her husband and children, who are very active with sports. She stays busy as a team mom for her kids’ various athletic teams, which she also enjoys photographing.
